These lectures are focussing on the analysis of technical solutions necessary to achieve advanced architectural targets for projects including green fields and brown fields strategies, with a particular emphasis on materials such as steel, glass, concrete and composite materials, etc.

The teaching is structured around case studies, technical analyses of contemporary achievements, overall designs and details of structures and envelopes. Fire design and other regulatory constraints, pathologies are also covered.
